Gluteal Augmentation
Butt Implants or Gluteal Augmentation involve the surgical insertion of artificial implants into the buttocks to add more curvature for a more well-balanced physique.
Butt Augmentation can be performed by using silicone implants or fat from a person's body, known as fat transfer. Patients who choose to undergo the procedure generally lack fat in the buttock area, or are unable to develop proportionate gluteal muscles.
Recovery
After surgery, some patients may experience some pain, bruising or discomfort. Patients will not be able to lie on their backs for about 2-3 weeks. Most surgeons recommend wearing a compression garment to hold down swelling. Generally, patients may resume normal activity within 2 weeks
